This course is a DAY 1 requirement for ALL new hire employees with the Office of Transportation, and should be watched once you have completed your Orientation training with the SCDE Office of Human Resources.
This training will introduce you to the leadership and management teams within Student Transportation, will inform you of the different training and opportunities available, provides key information on PPE and Vehicle standards you need to be aware of from the beginning, and lets you know what to expect in tomorrow's training.

This video was produced by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and meets the requirements of Rule 49 CFR Part 655.14(b), which state that Safety-Sensitive Employees must receive at least 60 minutes of training on the effects and consequences of prohibited drug use on personal health, safety, and the work environment, and on the signs and symptoms that may indicate prohibited drug use.
